Dear Councilmembers,
As an occasional user of the Burgess pool in Menlo Park and on behalf of the many former Mickelson patrons who are now without an accessible warm water therapy pool in the area, I am writing to you to encourage you to please help improve access for the seniors and the disabled at the Menlo Park aquatic facilities. Many of our mobility impaired Mickelson “refugees” now use the Menlo Swim and Sport facility. Please take this into consideration as you make your decision on Feb. 28th about who will be running the pool operations.
