I have lived in Menlo Park for 26 years and one of the main reasons I shop
locally downtown is Draeger’s.
I would urge you to accommodate their loading needs by accepting one of the 5 proposals to help them.
They offer a unique shopping experience and focal point for our community. In fact, when a 3 story project is allowed to be erected within two blocks of them on University Drive and an unused small parcel sits adjacent to them , perhaps the city could even use eminent domain to allow Draeger’s a workable solution for their loading issues.
