Dear Council,
To meet our city’s and the state’s climate goals and keep our planet habitable, we must move from gasoline and diesel cars to
clean alternatives like electric vehicles as quickly as possible.Our city is a leader in EV adoption; Menlo Park’s new EV adoption
rate is 18% a year and growing fast.As an long-time electric car owner I know the importance of available EV chargers for
facilitating EV adoption.Please help us breathe cleaner air and promote a healthier climate by passing the EV ordinance tonight.
