Many of you know that I am on the MP Library Foundation as well as the Belle Haven Neighborhood Advisory Committee so it come as
no surprise that I whole heartedly support building both libraries.
I toured the Los Gatos and Palo Alto Libraries and it was eye opening and inspiring and a bit deflating once we heard about their
planning and actual building timeline…..8-10 years!
I urge the council to move forward- hire a public relations firm and get the public excited about the future of Menlo Park. The
more informed the populace the more they will be willing to fork over serious $$$$.
Menlo Park has a chance to bring our libraries into the current century, and we should take this opportunity to do so.
