No shuttle offered on Bay Road between Willow Road and Marsh Road. Also no bus service. Ignored again.
I also learned Bay Road between Ringwood and VanBuren has been removed from the list of Capital Improvement Projects. Parts of Bay Road have a pavement condition index of 35 out of 100. Some patching of Bay Road has happened but that is just a bandaid? According to public works “The CIP focuses on addressing critical deferred maintenance and modernizing the City’s public infrastructure.” Exactly! Bay Road has been ignored. The road floods at Bay And Berkeley. The bike lane stripping is missing or barely there. The sidewalks are too narrow, crumbling and some are very sloped making them difficult to navigate. Why was Bay Road removed from the CIP list?
