Dear Menlo Park City Council :
I am writing on behalf of Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI) Meals on Wheels and the San Mateo County seniors we serve to invite you to participate in March for Meals. You are in a significant position to help raise awareness for the growing number of older adults facing hunger and isolation, both serious problems that have been exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We would be honored if you could join in this year's March for Meals campaign by participating in wellness calls to meal recipients during the month of March. In doing so, you can support your constituents in our community and help PVI Meals on Wheels gain much-needed visibility for this cause.
If you are interested in joining us for wellness calls and witnessing how we help your senior constituents remain healthier and more independent, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
