Dear City Council, The new sidewalks along SCR are fantastic! But judging by the threads on Nextdoor there are residents concerned about embedding "no parking" signs directly in the concrete. There's a long standing issue with poles and signs blocking wheelchairs, strollers and even regular pedestrians. Putting dozens of no parking signs in the sidewalk will only magnify the issue. Would it be possible to try going without signage or instead put the signage in the dirt outside the sidewalks versus embedding them in the concrete? I'm attaching a photo of one spot where you can see the spots where signs are targeted. It also shows signs in the dirt behind the sidewalk that's much less of an eyesore and also has no impact on pedestrians. Thanks for considering.
