Mayor and Council members:
The proposal, supported by the planning director and several City Council members, is absolutely destructive to the identity and economic vitality of Menlo Park. If approved and implemented the elimination of all parking downtown parking in favor of high rise housing would be a disaster and a complete failure of the planning departments and council’s responsibility for the welfare of Menlo Park. PLEASE TERMINATE THIS PROPOSAL NOW. IT IS A COLOSSAL MISTAKE.
