Sharon Heights Duck Pond

Dear City Council- Please do not disturb the peaceful environment of our beloved Sharon Heights park and pond. Word is you are considering the demolition of the surrounding path and shrubs, possibly installing bathrooms and more. We live in the neighborhood and for years have enjoyed bringing family and friends to the quiet and peaceful park and pond. Unless you have significant reasons to spend sparse tax dollars changing our wonderful park, please leave it as it is. And a secondary thought regarding care of all town parks, please use the most natural top soil and dressings for our community’s health. No more ’died-brown’ bark in the future as the dies are harmful to the environment and the fish and fowl who live in it. Thank you.
