Dear Council - With so many important and complex issues facing the City
Council (thank you again, for all you do), resolving the pool operations
situation is a pretty simple one in comparison. It is unreasonable to
expect any operator to sustain continued losses because the current
contract is not reflective of the demand for pool access at the two
locations. Renegotiate the contract. As I have written previously,
Burgess operations should not suffer because demand is lower than hoped for
at Belle Haven, yet here we are. Everyone loses.
