Wondering what the council is thinking about the businesses lining the parking lots during construction. With the noise, construction mess, lack of parking… how is the council planning to help those of us with businesses on these parking lots that cannot be accessed during construction. And those that may be able to be accessed but people won’t come because of the mess, noise and lack of parking: restaurants, stores, salons, post office etc… or the lack of parking for example to carry large items, like cans of paint, hardware, go to restaurants, shopping etc… if the council isn’t planning to help in some way, many of us won’t be able to keep our businesses open. Shoppers and others will go to Palo Alto or RWC and the city will be starting from scratch after construction. Would be nice to hear your thoughts and plans on this.
