Our existing main library does a great job of serving the community, and it does not need to be replaced. As smart phones become
ubiquitous, fewer people will need the library, but everyone will need WiFi. Instead, please provide free WiFi at the Belle Haven
library, Onetta Harris Center, Little House, downtown, and other locations where people can use it, and expand the hours for the
Belle Haven library.
If you have surplus money to spend, please improve the Belle Haven library. Or underground utilities throughout the city. Or build
a parking garage downtown. Or use the city-owned shuttle buses to give high school kids from Belle Haven a free ride to M-A High
on rainy days.
