At a time when daily, I am in dismay and distraught at the state of our county and unbelievably sad that my children have to have this happening during their childhood, when they should be able to look up to great leaders, my only salvation is that we live in a place where our friends and neighbors are good people who also reject the culture of disdain, racism and authoritarianism that Bryan Lanza, Mercury Public Affairs, and Donald Trump stand for—and, if you engage Mercury Public Affairs, you will stand for as well. I think too many decisions are made based on immediate benefits rather than what is right to do and then everyone loses in the end. Please do not lead Menlo Park down this dark path.
