To repeat, I am against adding new housing in District 1 until the rest of Menlo Park steps up and does its share to increase the housing supply, but I make an exception for Habitat’s proposed 8 unit project at 335 Pierce because it is the only chance we have to create some housing that people who live over here can afford to buy. The Planning Commission approved it. I approve it. Please green-light it, waive the fees, and don’t let anybody except Habitat build over here.
