Hi, council
It looks like building on the downtown parking lots, while it would help, wouldn’t fulfill what the city promised. I hear that someone floated the idea of eminent domaining the Sharon Heights golf course. That would be good for luxury condos but I think it would be a terrible place for the missing 600 units of BMR housing because it is inconveniently far from virtually everything. OTOH someone should ask prospective tenants how they would like the location. I also hear that David Bohannan would donate land for housing in Bohannon Park. Desperate times, desperate measures. Could the city legally transfer the Willow Village use permit to anyone who would build on that land? Anything beats more ‘builders remedy’ projects and getting rid of the ‘builders remedy’ would take action on the state level sometime in the dim future.
Sincerely (and sincerely nauseous about all this)
